New Doric Future Website Now Online
Doric Future Website was formed in 2019. It is a unique website which portrays a new perspective on our Doric culture in the N.E. of Scotland. Amongst the profiles are a selection of Doric speaking people who have written especially for Doric Future on their view of the importance of preserving our Doric culture and language. Included in the website various interviews taken with local people from our Buchan area, they portray their life stories and describe village life here in Cruden Bay and area.
There is a wealth of history which is also portrayed in some of the videos. Overall it gives an insight to how Doric culture sounds and look. Jill McWilliam and the team have worked hard to produce this great resource mainly on a volunteer basis, take a look at the Doric Future website.
