Thank you for taking the time to come in and speak with the students. I hope you also enjoyed being at the front of the class.
Doric is part of the rich history of this area and is woven in to the fabrics of some many other areas of life. For example, the humour found in Doric poetry and even the Holy Bible translated in to Doric.
With so much movement and migration of young people in local communities it is important to have projects to keep this important part of Scottish history alive.

“ I was delighted to be invited to come along to Slains School in November, 2019.
I spoke to the whole school about my video work of this area. I also showed the pupils how to make a simple video using i movie.
I left each pupil with a folder, to place in any ideas they had, for their own video
project on documenting their surroundings.
Ideas stemmed from the imagination , can be the beginnings of many great works of creativity.
