Doric Future Play Lists
Doric Future is fortunate to have close links to many musical talents who live and perform locally. The Cruden Bay Folk Club is at the heart of a large ensemble of musicians and singers who get together monthly to play and to listen to each others music. Below is a selection of play lists from across the years featuring some of these local talents.
A couple of the play lists are by a local band called ‘Bratach Bana’ (no longer together), several members of this band became founder members of the Cruden Bay Folk Club when it formed on 2012. As well as including all of the tracks from their highly acclaimed ‘Shetland Lights’ album, we have also published previously unreleased recordings which are unavailable elsewhere.
I have also included songs recorded during the 2020 Doric TV sessions, I really hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
