Doric TV explores the granite coastline in between The Bullers of Buchan and Longhaven Quarry. An area of outstanding beauty nestling between Aberdeen and Peterhead in the North East Coastline of Scotland. The famous pink and grey granite changes its colourful feature along this stretch of coastline. Granite was extracted from Longhaven and Stirlinghill Quarries for many decades and provided a huge workforce for the area. Granite was exported all over the world and many a noteable building stands with the granite from this area of Buchan. Lest we never forget these men who were part of this great industry.
